About me

Elliot on the beach with his poodle mix, he's crouched down and she's stood on her hind legs climbing on his shoulder

I’m Elliot and I’m a dog trainer with three years’ experience helping dogs and their people. I run force-free gundog classes and a dog sports course with Ruth’s Pet Behaviour Services, and have volunteered with RSPCA Cornwall and St. Francis Dogs Home. At home, I share life with two dogs of my own - a Standard Poodle x Golden Retriever and a Border Collie x Sprocker.

  • You’ll receive a full gallery of edited photos all exported for use online and on socials and to email to friends and family.

You’ll also receive two high resolution images of your choosing to print yourself when you book a 60 minute shoot, or five high resolution images of your choosing to print yourself when you book a 90 minute shoot.

Further high resolution images are available to purchase on request - prices vary dependent on the number of additional images requested.

  • Once you’ve submitted a booking request, I’ll get in contact to discuss the answers you’ve given me and we can chat about suitable locations.

Once we have agreed a time, date and location, I’ll send across a payment link. Payment must be sent in advance of the session.

  • We’ll spend some time settling in your dog and doing a careful introduction so that they feel safe with me.

We’ll then spend the time capturing natural moments and a variety of poses without any pressure. If you’ve any special requests for photos you’d particularly love, we can get those included.

  • That’s completely fine, most dogs struggle with that! I’m used to working with wiggly pups and I’ll use games, treats, toys, and patience to get the shots we need.

  • Of course. Shoot prices include upto 2 dogs, and then £25 for each extra dog. I’ll make sure to include photographs of them together and individually.

  • Absolutely. We’ll do a careful introduction to make sure your dog feels safe with me, and I won’t put your dog under any unnecessary pressure.

I’m an experienced dog trainer and have spent a lot of time working with dogs of all temperaments, and I’ll watch their body language closely to make sure they’re happy and relaxed.

I photograph my own reactive dog Rumo regularly with brilliant results!

  • Not at all, I can work with dogs of all training levels, ages and experience.

If they know a few cues like sit and wait then that’s great, but it’s definitely not required and we’ll get some great shots regardless.

  • If you’re dog is able to safely be let off lead then we will do that, but it’s not a problem if they need to be kept on - I can edit leads out of most photos. We can also pop them on a longline!

Alternatively, we can meet at a secure field which will mean they have more freedom and we can get some more natural shots.

  • Absolutely! Many people love having portraits with their dogs, and I’ll happily capture those alongside individual shots of your dog.

  • You’re welcome to bring anyone along to the session, though keeping the group small helps your dog stay focused.

Children are welcome too, but there would need to be an additional adult there to supervise them as it’s very difficult to watch the dogs and the kids carefully!

  • I am happy to travel around Cornwall. For locations that are further than 10 miles from Falmouth, there will be a 50p fuel charge per mile. This will be calculated once we have agreed a location, and I will send a payment request for this in advance of the session.

  • We’ll keep an eye on the forecast. The weather can be very changeable, so if it’s looking like we can’t go ahead then we can reschedule at no additional cost.

If we are already on location at the point the weather turns, we will arrange another time to meet and finish up.

You will always get the full time you have paid for, regardless of what happens on the day.
